Purchase conditions
WHAT APPLIES WHEN YOU SHOP ONLINE AT SKINTIQUE?
All products from this online store are sold directly from Elite Cosmetics AS - org. No. 929 415 043, hereinafter "Skintique".
The purchase conditions apply to the sale of all goods from www.skintique.no.
When you have placed an order with us, a purchase agreement is created between you and Skintique. A confirmation of your order will be sent to the e-mail address you provided when ordering.
If the wrong price, delivery time or other circumstances occur, Skintique reserves the right to change this afterwards. If this occurs, we will contact you and inform you of this. You then have the full right to change or cancel your order.
Skintique does not enter into agreements with persons under the age of 18.
Skintique reserves the right to refuse an order.
Upon discovery of any false orders or other attempts at fraud, the matter will be reported to the police.
SOLD OUT ITEMS
Reservations are made for out-of-stock items. Should one or more of the items you have ordered be out of stock, we will contact you to find the best possible solution. If you do not want to wait until the item is back in stock, we will refund the money you have paid on the same day.
REGISTRATION
To shop in Skintique's online store, you can register as a customer or you can shop as a guest. Account can be created under My account or during your first purchase. Registration requires a valid email address. We deliver to all of Norway with the exception of Svalbard and Jan Mayen. For card and credit purchases, according to the law, the person concerned must be 18 years of age. When shopping, e-mail and mobile number are mandatory.
ADDRESS
The customer himself is responsible for the correct address and postcode being given when ordering. Change of address can be done on My page. The registered address will be the delivery address, but it is possible to enter an alternative delivery address if desired if you shop by card. For invoice purchases, the goods are sent to your registered address.
PRICES
All prices include VAT. All costs related to the purchase, goods and any fees and shipping, will appear in the purchase process before the actual payment is made. All offer prices apply while stocks last or for campaigns where the deadline is shown in advertisements or newsletters.
We reserve the right that errors may occur on prices as well as technical errors relating to the shopping basket or checkout. We will then contact the customer within the next working day and find a good solution.
DISCOUNT CODES
Discount codes cannot be combined. You can only use one discount code per transaction. The discount code must be entered in the shopping basket, and cannot be added afterwards. Discount codes apply once per customer, unless otherwise specified under the offer. If you have used a discount code that gives you a discount when you shop for a minimum amount, the discount will be lost if you return goods that make you fall below the minimum amount. The discount amount is deducted from the goods that are returned, so that the amount that is refunded is the amount that has actually been paid. PAYMENT
Credit card
Purchases in our online store can be paid for by bank card/credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) either directly or via PayPal, or with Klarna invoice and Klarna partial payment. Your safety and security is very important to us, and with our partners Stripe and PayPal, this security is taken care of. Stripe is one of the world's leading facilitators of payment solutions for online stores.
Invoice/part payment with Klarna
We offer payment by invoice and partial payment in collaboration with Klarna AB. The invoice is sent by e-mail and the payment deadline is 30 days. Delivery is made to the customer's registered address, and a different delivery address than this is not possible.
To pay by invoice, you must be 18 years old, be registered in Norway and be approved in the credit assessment carried out at the time of purchase.
In the event of late payment, a payment reminder and/or debt collection notice will be sent, and statutory fees will apply. If payment is still not received, the invoice will be sent to debt collection and additional costs will be incurred. Elite Cosmetics AS reserves the right in certain cases to refuse delivery and carry out a new credit assessment of the customer.
Please note that if you shop on invoice and wish to cancel the purchase, you can only cancel the purchase by sending the goods back to us, and cannot cancel the purchase in one of our physical stores.
If you wish to return to us and have chosen invoice as payment method, you must notify customer service before the invoice is due. Then you avoid the invoice being delayed before the return has been processed. Send an e-mail with information about the order number and invoice number to customer service: kundeservice@skintique.no
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We have free shipping on all orders over NOK 299 with Parcel in the mailbox, otherwise NOK is charged. NOK 45 in shipping costs.
The package to the pick-up point is free for purchases over NOK 499, otherwise NOK is charged. NOK 75 in shipping costs.
Home delivery by Posten is free for purchases over NOK 1,500, otherwise NOK is charged. NOK 99 in shipping costs.
Important information regarding Parcel in mailbox:
Packages in the mailbox can only be sent to your registered address. The package will not arrive if you are not registered at the relevant address. If you are going to send to an address other than your registered address, choose Parcel to pick-up point or Hjemleleleving instead.
Skintique is not responsible for packages that are stolen/disappear from your mailbox, and we have no opportunity to replace them. When the package is delivered by the postman in your mailbox, responsibility for the package passes from Posten to you.
Parcels that are too large to be delivered in your letterbox will be delivered to your nearest delivery point, and you will receive a notification from Posten about this.
Parcel in the mailbox is not available for orders with a value over NOK. NOK 2,000.
Your order is sent using the shipping method you have chosen. Delivery time is 1 to 5 working days, and no later than 30 days after the order has been received (§6 of the Consumer Purchase Act), depending on where in the country you live. We reserve the right to slightly longer delivery times in periods where Skintique or Posten have a lot of traffic. Skintique reserves the right to change the delivery method.
Cancellation in case of delay
If Skintique cannot deliver at the agreed time, and no later than 30 days after the order has been received, the consumer must call on Skintique to deliver within a reasonable additional deadline for fulfillment. If Skintique does not deliver within this additional deadline, the consumer can terminate the agreement.
If Skintique has refused to deliver the goods, if delivery within the agreed time is decisive for the conclusion of the agreement, or if the consumer has informed the seller before the conclusion of the agreement that delivery within or at a specific time is decisive, then in such cases Skintique has not delivered in time in accordance with § 6, and the consumer can immediately terminate the agreement. If there is a right of rescission, the consumer will have the money refunded no later than 14 days from the right of rescission.
UNCOLLECTED PACKAGES
Posten sends out a reminder if you forget to pick up an ordered parcel. If you still do not collect the package by the stated date, it will be sent back to us. For undelivered and unpaid packages, you will be charged a fee of NOK. NOK 199 to cover the costs we have had in connection with the undelivered package. Uncollected goods are not normally covered by the right of withdrawal.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The Right of Cancellation Act applies to all purchases the customer makes in Skintique's online store. The right of withdrawal is 14 days from the item(s) being received (cf. Right of Withdrawal Act § 21). This means that you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the item(s) that you regret the purchase. You can do this by e-mail to kundeservice@skintique.no. You then have a further 14 days to return the item(s).
The return costs are borne by the consumer (cf. Section 8 of the Right of Cancellation Act, first paragraph letter i). If you wish to return goods, you will be sent a ready-made return label, which is affixed to the box and delivered to the nearest post office. The products to be returned must be properly packed, so that they are not damaged during transport. Damaged returns are not refunded. The item must be in its original packaging with an unbroken seal. Returns of goods with a broken seal will not be accepted.
If the return is approved, the money will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the return. The return shipping is deducted from the refunded amount.
We draw your attention to the following extract from the Right of Withdrawal Act: The Right of Withdrawal Act only applies to consumer purchases. The right of withdrawal cannot therefore be used by companies or others who have acted as part of commercial activities (cf. Right of withdrawal Act § 5, point a).
COMPLAINT - DEFECTS WITH THE ITEM
If there is a defect in the goods, the buyer must notify us within a reasonable time after it was discovered or should have been discovered that he or she wants to claim the defect. The buyer has always complained in sufficient time if it happens within 2 months. from the time the defect was discovered or should have been discovered. Complaints can be made no later than two years after the buyer took over the item. If the product or parts of it are intended to last significantly longer than two years, the complaint deadline is five years.
If the item has a defect and this is not due to the buyer or conditions on the buyer's side, the buyer may, in accordance with the rules of the Consumer Purchase Act, chapter 6, depending on the circumstances , withhold the purchase price , choose between rectification and redelivery , demand a price reduction , demand the contract terminated and/or demand compensation from the seller.
If you have a complaint about a product you have bought from us, contact our customer service by e-mail as soon as possible.
DAMAGED SHIPMENT
If the buyer receives a shipment from us that has been damaged, the buyer must contact us as soon as possible, no later than 2 days after receiving the package.
CONFLICT RESOLUTION
The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. The buyer can contact the Consumer Council to get assistance in any dispute with the seller. If an amicable solution is not reached after mediation in the Consumer Council, the parties can request in writing that the Consumer Council refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Committee. Decisions of the Consumer Disputes Committee are legally binding four weeks after notification. Skintique will follow decisions made by the Consumer Disputes Committee. See Act of 28 April 1978 No. 18 on handling consumer disputes.
RETURNS
You must arrange a return with us in advance. Returns that have not been notified in advance to our customer service will not be accepted. Returns cannot be delivered in store.
The return address will then be given through a communication channel.
The returned products must be unused with unbroken packaging.
COPYRIGHT
Content on Skintiques' websites is the property of Elite Cosmetics AS. This content is protected by copyright, marketing and trademark laws. This means that trademarks, company names, product names, information about products, including product descriptions, images/graphics, design and layout, and other content on the pages cannot be downloaded, copied or used in any other way without this being permitted by legislation or with the consent of Skintique.
FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure means extraordinary events that are beyond the parties' control. Examples of this are natural disasters, floods, war, riots, strikes, etc. This clause releases Skintique from responsibility for obligations that Skintique is unable to fulfill due to events beyond Skintique's control.
